But what Mark McKenzie, of BFBS Scotland fame, heard was...
"Do Summits for the BFBS Big Salute!"
Mark was committed to this idea, thought about it over a long-weekend and came up with 'The Edinburgh 7' - the city is built on 7 hills after all!
So on the 2nd of October, the plan is to walk/climb them all in a day starting and finishing at Edinburgh Castle taking in Calton Hill, Corstorphine Hill, Craiglockhart Hill, Braid Hill, Blackford Hill and Arthur's Seat. It's around 15 miles and 2200 feet of ascent/descent.
