Thank you for choosing to donate to the BFBS Big Salute, our campaign that raises vital funds for armed forces charities, who can apply for grants to support specific projects for the serving military, families or veterans.
There are multiple ways you can donate, and every penny you give goes to the beneficiary projects.

From sponsored walks or runs to custom themed events and everything in-between, there's plenty of ways for you to raise much needed money for these great causes!

Be a beneficiary of the Big Salute
Each year the BBS Big Salute Committee meet to discuss the applications received. They consider all applications on merit, impact and measurable outcomes and make the awards accordingly. The Committee’s decision is final.
The Big Salute is now accepting grant applications. The application window closes on 31st July 2026.

What we do
The BFBS Big Salute is our annual campaign that raises vital funds for armed forces charities and is separate to grants awarded under the BFBS Welfare Fund scheme.
