Will Parker’s debut EP Same Old Paradise is out now. He’s a 21 year old singer-songwriter from Scunthorpe in the UK.

He came into BFBS recently to play some of his songs and chat to George Ryland about his life, going viral and if being a singer has always been his dream.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is the annual event held every August which sees a mixture of military music, dance and more all held on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland.

BFBS Scotland's Mark McKenzie spoke with new CEO Jason Barrett about the event's history, his US Marine & Royal Marine service to the future of the Tattoo and everything in between!

Following a strong England performance at this year's World Cup 2026, BFBS spoke to comedian and songwriter David Baddiel who, alongside Frank Skinner, wrote the iconic 'Three Lions (It's Coming Home)' song back in 1996.

SAS Rock star Chris Ryan’s is a No1 Bestselling author and he’s got a new book out called Traitor.

For those who don’t know story ….. Chris became an SAS legend after taking part in the infamous Bravo 2 Zero mission during the Gulf War in 1991.

He was the only member of that unit to escape from Iraq the rest were all either captured or killed. For his part - he was awarded the military medal and a place forever in the regiments Hall of Fame…..
