Alice was told she ‘had a good voice for radio’ and has been testing this theory with BFBS since 2021. After working for the BBC, Alice has since presented shows from the UK, the Falkland Islands, Brunei, Bahrain and is currently posted in Cyprus. Through broadcasting and podcasts, she endeavours to share Forces stories, from the women’s first inter service rugby game at Twickenham to the United Nations exercise monitoring The Green Line. With highs like her Falkland’s band ‘Wonderland’ and speedboating around crocodiles in the jungle, she almost forgets the fact she is still relentlessly pale despite several sunny years away.
