About
The World Cup happens every four years and sees teams from across the world compete until there's one overall winner. The competition will be hosted by three nations - the United States, Mexico and Canada and will take place between the 11th of June and 19th of July 2026.
The format will see one round of games featuring 48 teams, an increase from the usual 32, separated into 12 groups of four teams, with the top two teams and eight best third-placed teams qualifying for the knockout rounds.
