Let's get social

Are you a military spouse or partner? Do you fancy a career in Social Media, learning something new or simply upgrading your skill level?

Then join our BFBS Social Media Team for a day of networking, workshops, entertainment, stalls and food at the Great Yorkshire Showground on the 20th of July from 10am-3pm!

This will be our second Social Media Spouses event and our team can't wait to bring you a day of training, guest keynote speakers and more! 

Tickets are available now for just £5, with all profits going to our BFBS Big Salute charity.

If you can't make the event then, don't worry, we'll be streaming the event live on our BFBS Academy Facebook page!

Suli Tuiteci

Suli Tuiteci is originally from the Fiji Islands, and now based in Topcliffe, North Yorkshire. Suli is a professional cake maker and decorator, and her business, Sweetly Sulis, has been running for almost 2 years. She is a committee member of the Fijian Women’s Group, Marama Alliance UK, where she champions Fijian women and help them realise their power and influence in their different communities, and empower them to be agents of change. Suli has a real passion for community and helping people. She spends a lot of her free time offering advice and support, doing charity drives for people in need and organisations in Fiji.

Suli is mother to three gorgeous girls, and her husband is serving in the British Army.

Sue Llewellyn

Sue Llewellyn is a former BBC journalist turned social media trainer and consultant. She introduced Twitter to the BBC Newsroom in 2008 and led social media training for the BBC Academy for over a decade.

She helps people to find their voice, build their profile and to make an impact online, on social media and on air. To date she has trained well over 7000 people around the world including some of the biggest names in broadcasting.

She is also a regular speaker at conferences on the Psychology of Social Media and How Journalists are using social media. Offline she’s a mother of 6, proud new granny and slave to one quirky dog.
