This year we are very excited to have awarded £65,000 to 11 fantastic charities who do amazing work supporting the military community. They have great projects and plans coming up for 2021 and we can't wait to see the results!
Here is a little information about how the money will help a few of those charities...
We awarded the Army Widows’ Association £5k, this will help to fund Post Lockdown Respite Weekends.
We gave £5k to Blesma, The Limbless Veterans to help fund new virtual at-home/online and physical activities.
We gave the Blind Veterans UK £10k to provide specialist equipment to blind RAF veterans.
To the team at Erskine we awarded £5k to fund recreational materials and equipment for their Activities Centre.
We have given the team at Launchpad £9,100 to help fund their Homeless Veterans’ Cycle Club in Liverpool.
To Rugby for Heroes we awarded £5k which will help fund their Rugby Coaching Course.
We gave the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation £5k to help combat social isolation & provide specialist hearing equipment.
The Veterans in Communities received £2,953.00 to host a new social group for veterans in the Metropolitan Borough of Middleton.
We gave the War Widows’ Association £5k to help fund a special lunch for their 50th Anniversary.
The BFBS Big Salute is our annual campaign that raises vital funds for armed forces charities which provides some much-needed funding, as well as support to military individuals, families and communities through a variety of initiatives.

Applications will be open to apply for grants from 1st April 2021.
