Former Head of Sky News becomes new SSVC Chief Executive

Nick Pollard, former Head of Sky News, joins the Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC) today as Chief Executive.

Help For Heroes Joins BFBS Big Salute

The BFBS Big Salute has added a sixth Forces charity to its roll-call of beneficiaries - Help For Heroes.

BFBS Television introduces PIN Codes to BFC

From Monday 8th June, all entitled personnel in BFC can have access to all the BFBS TV channels, all the time.

BFBS 3 Kids and BFBS 4

Two New Channels on BFBS Television

On Saturday 2nd May, BFBS launches two new TV channels, BFBS3 KIDS and a movie channel on BFBS4.

BFBS3 KIDS will start at 0500 CET and run throughout the day until 1800. It will comprise series for older children; six hours of CBeebies from the BBC; and, of course, BFBS TV's own Room 785, which moves over from BFBS1.
