BFBS Germany Multi-Room - Viewer Procesures

Firstly, you need to establish whether you are a satellite viewer or a cable viewer. If you use a viewing card you are a satellite viewer. If you do not use a viewing card you are a cable viewer.

DTH is only available to the BFG entitled audience and can only be received in accommodation which has been installed with a DTH outlet by the recognised contractor, HCM. All works will be carried out by HCM. If there is not already an existing 1st socket at the premises, an installation will not be carried out. If you're living in a hiring, please check with your housing officer before requesting a second outlet.

Satellite Viewers

1. You can call the HCM Helpline on 0209 999 1699 to request a second outlet. This will normally be €200, paid in cash by the customer to the contractor at the time of installation. In exceptional cases, the cost may be higher, in which case HCM will provide a quotation.
2. If you want a third outlet in another room, you can request an additional quote at the time of installation.
3. You can purchase a suitable receiver from the nearest SSVC Retail outlet. Satellite receivers will be available for approximately €140.
4. The SSVC Retail outlet will issue you with a second card, at a cost of €20. Note that the charge for the card is an administrative charge and does not transfer ownership of the card. The card must be returned when you leave the quarter. SSVC Retail will have a record of where second BFBS outlets have been installed, and will not issue a second card if you do not have a second BFBS outlet.
5. If you have any problems, call the Helpline, as for your first outlet. The Helpline number is +44 (0) 1494 878100. In the case of the second outlet, the box you have purchased will be your property, with a one-year warranty. If there is a problem with the outlet, a repair will be arranged.

Cable Viewers

1. You can call the Helpline 0209 999 1699 to request a second outlet. This will normally be €200, paid in cash by the customer to the contractor at the time of installation.
2. You can purchase a suitable receiver from the nearest SSVC Retail outlet. Cable receivers can be bought for approximately €75.
3. If you have any problems, call the Helpline, as for your first outlet. The Helpline number is 0209 999 1699. In the case of the second outlet, the box you have purchased will be your property, with a one-year warranty. If there is a problem with the outlet, a repair will be arranged.
