BFBS Multi-Room – Cyprus
If you already have DTH installed in your living room, but would also like it in your bedroom, with the facility to watch different channels in different rooms, this is how you do it...
BFBS Cyprus Multi-Room - Viewer Procedures
- Call Redmax Technologies Ltd. on 22 399595 (office hours Mon-Fri 0800-2200, Sat 0900-1800) to arrange the installation of a second outlet. Redmax will carry out the work, and supply the box and card for a total cost of €372 . (installation + box + card = € 188 + € 161 + €23 ). This is payable in cash to Redmax at the time of installation.
- You will need to give details of name, rank, address and service number in order for your card to be enabled. Note that the charge for the card is an administrative charge and does not transfer ownership of the card. The card must be returned when you leave the quarter. BFBS will have a record of where second BFBS outlets have been installed, and will not issue a second card if you do not have a second BFBS outlet.
- If you want a third outlet in another room, this can be arranged for a further €68. If another box and card are required, these can also be supplied for €184 (€161 for the satellite receiver + €23 for the card).
- You will need to sign a Customer Contract to acknowledge the conditions of this installation. This will be supplied and retained by Redmax, and is to be signed at the time of installation.
- For any faults call the Helpline on +44 1494 878100. Any problems with outlet will be covered by the ongoing maintenance contract. The receiver will be covered by a 1 year warranty, after which any repairs will have to be paid for by the customer.
Conditions
DTH is only available to the entitled audience and can only be received in SFA accommodation which has already been installed with a BFBS DTH outlet by the recognised contractor, Redmax Technologies Ltd. All works to install further outlets will be carried out by Redmax. If there is not already an existing 1st socket at the premises, an installation will not be carried out. If you're living in a hiring, please check with your housing officer before requesting a second outlet.
Why does Multiroom cost so much?
If you compare it to the cost of Sky Multiroom, which is £9.75 per extra room per month, for 3 years, it's about the same. And of course that's on top of the £1500 average Sky subscription you'd pay over 3 years.
