What BFBS Television channels will I get?

You'll get these channels (click to enlarge)

Cyprus

What sort of programmes are on the channels?

BFBS1 has a bit of everything, from chat shows to soaps, dramas to news, documentaries to sport. We carry the BBC News channel overnight.

BFBS2 is a 6-hour block of programmes with shows like CSI and the Simpsons, sci-fi and comedy.

BFBS3 KIDS does exactly what it says on the tin, and this is where you'll find BFBS TV's own 'Room 785' show with birthdays and competitions for Forces' kids worldwide.

BFBS4 is our movie channel. Two movies a day, at 8pm and 10pm, with more on Saturdays.

Then there are our carriage channels - direct live relays of two Sky Sports channels, a music channel and Sky News.

Coming soon

In the next 2 or 3 months, we'll be adding factual entertainment and documentaries on BFBS3 in the evenings.

Why can't I get the round-the-clock repeats of BFBS2 and BFBS4 and the '1 day later' channel?

BFBS TV has to adhere to Ofcom guidelines and observe a watershed to protect children from unsuitable material. However, we hope in the future to be able to introduce PIN codes which will really help in combatting the difficulty in serving Cyprus with your very early working day.

Stop Press!  PIN Codes launch on 8th June.  Read more here!
