What sort of programmes are on the channels?

BFBS 1 has a bit of everything, from chat shows to soaps, dramas to news, documentaries to sport. We carry the BBC News channel overnight.

BFBS 2 is a 6-hour block of programmes  including shows like CSI and the Simpsons, sci-fi and  comedy.

Sky News live rolling news 24 hours day.

How do I receive BFBS TV?

We transmit terrestrially on Ascension Island, so you receive the channels via a normal analogue aerial.

Why can't I get all the BFBS TV channels?

Although there are several more channels on the satellite covering Ascension, we have only two analogue transmitters for terrestrial rebroadcast, so without further funding, the channels received on the ground remain unchanged.
