Hi Guys,

Just popped in to tell you about the new programmes winging their way to your TV screens during the next couple of weeks.

New during CBeebies Monday to Friday is Tumble Travels. These bitesize programmes feature Mr Tumble from Something Special.

On Monday, Wednesday, Friday Muddle Earth's back, the comedy-fantasy-adventure series that brings the eponymous illustrated book to life. The series takes the ‘Lord of the Rings’ concept to a mad world, inhabited by ogres, goblins, trolls and elves, where literally anything can happen.

Tuesday, and then on every weekday is Deadly 360. Steve Backshall recreates incredible hunts by some of the world's deadliest creatures, analysing the techniques and tactics of both predator and prey in forensic detail, to reveal why hunts sometime succeed and why they sometimes fail. The first episode is called Birds of prey. A common city pigeon takes on the fastest animal on the planet, the peregrine falcon. A mountain hare tries to outrun the massive golden eagle and an osprey has its sharp sights set on a very slippery fish, the flounder.

There's also another chance to see Noah and Saskia on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's all about two teenagers who meet in an Internet chatroom, using personas that are very different from their true selves. They become friends, but both fear having the other discover their true identities.

Then it's Half Term, whoo hoo, and it's not just great programmes we have, oh no, movies too! Just check out this little lot!!!

Handy Manny's back on Saturday and he's helping people with their Valentine's Day presents and his collection of boisterous talking tools wonder what they can give him.

On Sunday Fort Boyard returns. Laura Hamilton and Geno Segers present a brand new version of the world-famous adventure game show - but this time, all the contestants are teenagers. Set in the familiar Napoleonic sea fortress off the south-west coast of France, kids from the US and UK will compete in a series of thrilling quests to uncover Fort Boyard's hidden treasures. In the first episode, the Red Vipers and the Yellow Scorpions try to win keys in games including the Terror Walk, the Dark Descent, the Caterpillar and the Slot Machine before racing for coins in the Treasure Chamber.

The film on Monday is the animated action film Ultimate Avengers: The Movie. After decades in suspended animation, the heroic Captain America is brought back to life to lead a team of superheros into battle against an evil alien race that are determined to take control of Earth.

Tuesday's film is Scooby-Doo and the Samurai Sword. The gang are off to Japan to track down an ancient ghost that has been set free and regain the stolen Black Samurai sword.

On Wednesday CBBC’s My Life series returns with My Life Without Hair, narrated by Matt Lucas. Thirteen-year-old Kim and eight-year-old Dan have never met, but they both have alopecia and are growing up without hair. They both find it difficult: Dan doesn’t like the names he gets called, and Kim is so worried people will stare at her that she’s stopped going out – even with her wig on. They meet at a special summer camp for kids with alopecia, kids just like them who have lost all or part of their hair. As Dan makes new friends at camp, he discovers that he’s pretty happy being bald and faces the prospect of going back to school in a new class with renewed confidence. Kim is so used to hiding away that it’s hard for her to join in. But when she meets beautiful twelve-year-old Gemma she realises that life really can be okay without hair.

The film today is Minutemen, a fantasy adventure in which three kids build a time machine to spare other youngsters the humiliation they have endured.

Those Wizards of Waverly Place are back on Thursday. This week’s brand new episode is a double-length special, Wizards vs Werewolves. Alex is in love with Craig but cannot understand some of his actions so, joined by Harper, she follows him one night only to discover his secret: he is a werewolf! On finding out, Justin uses this information to help him find Juliet but it turns out that she and Craig go back a long way, having been lovers 300 years ago.

Today's film is the comic action fantasy Next Avengers. In a possible alternative world of the future, the Avengers have all been slain except Tony Stark and Thor. Stark rescued the Avengers' children and brought them up. Now James, Torunn, Azari and Pym must face up to their parents' killer, and try to rid the world of evil robot Ultron. They find help from an unexpected quarter: the previously unknown son of Hawkeye, Barton. Can this fabulous five succeed where their parents failed?

And finally on Friday Scooby's back with Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins. The movie recounts how the mystery-solving Scooby-Doo gang first met. When spooky events begin occurring at Coolsville High, kids Daphne, Velma, Fred, Shaggy and talking dog Scooby-Doo are accused of staging a practical joke and are suspended. To clear their names, they team up to solve the supernatural mystery.

So there's lots of great programmes and films to enjoy during the hols, but as ever I'll be back soon with more.

In the meantime, keep watching!!!
