Chris worked for a number of stations before joining BFBS. A spell on hospital radio in his home town of Dartford whilst studying for A levels led to Radio Thamesmead and assorted London pirate stations including Skyline, JFM and the then-pirate Kiss whilst he was running the instore station at HMV in London.
He moved on to DJ on famous North Sea pirate station Radio Caroline and the Voice of Peace off the coast of Israel. Returning to the UK, he worked on Invicta FM, Key 103, Essex FM, Power FM, Capital FM, The Superstation, Contact 94 (in France), Horizon FM & Chiltern Radio.
He has worked all over the world with BFBS including all the operational tours in Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Chris is currently Station Manager in Cyprus, presenting the morning show and he is also one of our specialist music team, presenting The Vibe each week.
When not on-air he takes to the skies whenever time allows, having held a private pilots licence for over 20 years.
