A team of war-wounded rowers currently trying to cross the Atlantic is running out of water after the on board de-salinator broke.

The serious set back just thirty days into their 3000-mile voyage has meant rationing their water supply to just 2 litres of water each per day and only rowing at night.

With 900 miles still to go, the crew hopes that a supply vessel carrying 350 bottles of water can reach them within the next six days.

The Row2Recovery team remains confident they can complete the challenge.
