The Gumpathon team are due to finish their run across America in a few hours time. After 63 days, 3,530 miles, three deserts and four time zones the team have all exceeded their wildest expectations.

However for Mark Ormrod the run has been a massive personal achievement. After being injured in Afghanistan in 2007, he was told that he may never walk again. However the triple amputee has run five miles on some days of the Gumpathon.

Mark spoke to British Forces News about the challenges he has faced along the way.
