The first national day for schoolchildren to pay tribute to their heroes and raise money for wounded troops is approaching.
Heroes Day will take place on 21st October and kids up and down the country and across the forces world will wear costumes that honour their personal heroes.
The event is the brainchild of a friend of the three hundredth serviceman to lose his life on operations in Afghanistan.
