British forces Alpine athletes are heading to Meribel for another year.

The skiers and snowboarders will begin training ahead of the first races on Monday.

This is the 6th successive year the resort has hosted, with nearly 200 military personnel taking part, with the biggest year to date for the Forces Disabled Ski team.

They are bringing a record number of competitors to the championships, all of which will be preparing for the 2014 para winter Olympics.

We’ll have full coverage of the event across BFBS Radio, TV news, on these web pages and on our social web sites Facebook and Twitter.
