Soldiers from across the globe have descended on the Brecon Beacons in Wales for one of the toughest patrolling exercises ever invented.

The Cambrian Patrol takes 48 hours to complete, and covers some of the harshest terrain in Wales, whilst carrying 60 lbs of equipment.

Teams from Pakistan, Australia and Canada were among those taking part this year, as well as British soldiers who were influential during Operation Moshtarak and Operation Panther’s Claw.
