The Irish Guards will unveil a statue in the centre of Windsor as a tribute to all the soldiers who have served in their ranks since their formation on the 1st April 1900.

The sculpture of a modern day Irish Guardsman is cast in bronze.

The Regiment brought it back from Iraq in 2003 and artist Mark Jackson designed it.
