Exeter Chiefs rugby side have won a prestigious sports award. The team, who feature Army player Chris Budgen, have been named as the BBC South West’s Team of the Year.

The Chiefs have had an outstanding year and Budgen has been at the forefront of their success.

Since winning promotion to the English Premiership for the first time in 2010 the side finished their debut season in eighth place and are currently third in the league. Budgen joined the club in 2008.
