A children’s charity has forged a unique relationship with Army welfare officers to help the families of 1st Battalion, The Royal Welsh.

Catch 22 helps children from all walks of life and is helping an increasing number of civilian families struggling in the recession.

But the charity has found that the war in Afghanistan is making it especially tough for military families.

Forces News cameras have been following the work of one support worker based in Chester who is spending more than half his time at Dale Barracks.
