Prince Charles has unveiled a statue in Aberdeen remembering the Gordon Highlanders.

The regiment was disbanded in 1994 and the Prince was its last colonel in chief.

The monument has been paid for out of the city's Common Good Fund, and features Gordon Highlanders from different eras.

The Prince also met retired service personnel who had been invited to the ceremony.
