Army families moving to the former RAF base at Kinloss are to meet a Moray Council delegation later this month.

About 900 personnel and relatives from 39 Engineer Regiment will be moved to the new barracks by the summer from Waterbeach, near Cambridge.

The visit will take place on the 23rd and 24th of January and is intended to assist the transition of children into local schools.

RAF Kinloss was closed as part of the UK government's defence cuts.
