Fire breaks out on section of aircraft carrier

Firefighters are tackling a blaze on a section of the first Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier.

The fire broke out in the stairwell of the 8,000-tonne hull mid-section at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.

Seven fire engines and 40 firefighters are tackling the blaze.

Police say no one has been hurt.
