News feeds allow you to see when websites add new content. You can find the latest Military headlines here separated by their relevant category.
The RSS (Really Simple Syndication) format allows us to create web pages, that are designed to be read by computers, rather than just people.
Computers, or mobile phone devices, like android and iOS Iphone based operating systems will be able to read these files, and thus be able to keep you largely up to date with what is going on where.
Most modern browsers including Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome will automatically check for feeds when you visit a site, and display an orange RSS icon when it's detected.
RSS is a universal format that will allow charities, partners, community projects, and forces groups to import BFN stories to their website and make available the full link to the story and related content.
You can also download news reader software which allows you to download the stories to your computer yourself.
