RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries) is an independent charity established almost a hundred years ago to provide housing, healthcare and employment to ex-Service men and women. Today’s RBLI delivers a range of support services from our Kent-based village community, including welfare, healthcare and housing. Their aim is to provide the environment and support necessary for those using our services to achieve as much independence as possible.

As well as family housing, the range of housing solutions they provide includes long-term, short-term and transitional options, sheltered accommodation and assisted living. Their high dependency nursing home, rated 3-star excellent by the Care Quality Commission, provides high quality nursing care to ex-Service men and women and their dependants.

The Health & Wellbeing Service provides practical and emotional support to individuals, a sense of community through a wide range of activities, and the opportunity to develop skills and interests. The RBLI are also active in the commercial world through their Manufacturing Division. This supplies pallets, road and rail signs, and mailing and print solutions to a range of regional and national businesses, and provides employment opportunities to those with a disability or long-term condition.

For those seeking training or work, the Employment Solutions division offers information, advice and guidance to find appropriate work, and provides in-work support to ensure that it can be sustained. The RBLI also work closely with employers to help them use their in-work support to retain the skills and knowledge of staff who acquire a disability or longer term health condition, and to access funds to provide equipment and adaptations in the workplace.
