TASNEEM'S PROFILE

Tasneem Siddiqi has a name that you don't forget in a hurry! She was told that Tasneem is the name of a river in heaven and that Siddiqi is a friend. Her voice certainly has a friendly, heavenly flow when she is reading the news.

She has been with BFBS now for over five years, news reading, producing and reporting for both Radio 1 and 2. The only time she has EVER been lost for words, was being asked on the Saturday show with Vicky and Adam, what her favourite noise was and she just said "Uh?"

Before coming to BFBS, Tasneem used to be a TV reporter and Presenter for the BBC and worked on several documentary programmes. She also presented the consumer programme "You and Yours" on Radio 4 for several years.

She loves dancing, (especially in the studio before a news bulletin), chocolate, her dog and working for BFBS of course!
