ROSIE'S PROFILE

Rosie started out working on a range of programmes for Dot TV, a Technology Channel for Sky Television. She spent several years working behind the scenes and on-screen, becoming a temporary expert on all things video games before moving on to report on the more high-brow world of developing technology and digital communications.

After moving through the ranks, she took a position on a Psychic programme for Living TV. Sadly she failed to discover her spiritual side, and a sickie she took in order to attend the BFBS interview was cruelly exposed by the hostile medium hosting the show.

Luckily for her she got the job, and has never looked back. Since joining the team she’s made many operational visits. Notable trips include reporting on elections in Iraq and Afghanistan and a stint onboard a Royal Navy frigate in the Caribbean as the ship’s company seized a large haul of raw cocaine, following a dramatic sea chase. She’s reported from many other far flung locations including Mozambique, Kazakhstan, Belize, Kuwait, Qatar and on-board a French Aircraft Carrier in the Suez Canal.

In the UK she’s produced many reports tackling key welfare issues, from mental health and Post-Traumatic Stress to inadequate accommodation and homelessness. Stand out interviews include Tony Blair when he was in office and Prince Andrew.
