OLLY'S PROFILE

Olly is the Forces News Gadget Expert, where he gets to explore his love for all matters technology. Olly is also a technology expert for 'Steve Wright in the Afternoon' (BBC Radio 2), 'Technology Unplugged' (Sky News), 'This Morning' (ITV1) and recently co-hosted his own show about internet culture, 'Web 2009', on BBC 5 Live.

Olly has written about technology for the Daily Telegraph, BBC Online, The Guardian, The Observer and The Word magazine, and in 2006 wrote the first play to be based on user-generated online content, 'Bloggers: Real Internet Diaries' (seebloggers.com). Olly appears regularly reviewing newspapers and as a cultural commentator on Sunrise (Sky News), The Alan Titchmarsh Show (ITV1), Breakfast (BBC1), The Stephen Nolan Show (BBC 5 Live), Saturday Live (Sky News) and BBC News Channel.

Olly is best-known for co-hosting the popular comedy podcast Answer Me This! (answermethispodcast.com), a weekly show in which Olly and his friend Helen Zaltzman answer audience questions on everything from trivia to love dilemmas. The show attracts around two million downloads per year from all over the world, has twice been nominated for a Sony Radio Academy Award, and has been Critic's Choice in The Times, Guardian, Independent, Radio Times, Time Out, Q Magazine and the Sunday Express. Helen and Olly's first book, 'Answer Me This!' will be published by Faber and Faber in November 2010.
