CLAIRE'S PROFILE

Claire joined BFBS in 2007 and since then has travelled around the world reporting on the British Forces.

She’s been to Iraq, Bosnia, Kosovo, Cyprus, France and Italy.

But it’s her three month stint in Afghanistan at the start of 2010 that she describes as the most rewarding period of work in her life. Claire says it was a privilege to be given so much access to the work of British troops.

Over the past ten years Claire has worked for the BBC, ITN and Sky.

At one point she also dipped her toe in the world of entertainment reporting, interviewing the likes of Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Westlife and the Beckhams.
