ADAM'S PROFILE

Sometimes known as " the other Adam Gilchrist " because of some pesky Australian cricketer of the same name. Plus unlike him, Adam bats right handed.

Adam has been broadcasting news programmes, sports shows and music / magazine shows for BFBS since 1989. He was asked to " invent " Newsplus 21 years ago, and has clung on like a limpet ever since.

He is also currently the UK Correspondent for 2GB radio in Sydney, MTR in Melbourne, RadioLive in New Zealand, 702 Radio in Johannesburg and Cape Talk Radio in Cape Town. Adam has previously worked for numerous radio stations in London, plus Atlantic 252 in Ireland and Radio Nova in Italy.

Adam's also known for a love of cold weather, warm beer, old obscure films and for being a bit grumpy.
