Police believe Real IRA behind bomb attacks in County Londonderry

Police in Northern Ireland say they have "no doubt" the Real IRA was behind bomb attacks on the homes of a Catholic police officer and a retired doctor.

A bomb exploded outside the officer's house near Claudy, County Londonderry in the early hours of this morning.

No one was injured.

A controlled explosion was later carried out at the home of a retired GP just outside the village.

Three men have been arrested.
