The Audit Office has criticised Stormont chiefs in Northern Ireland for being too slow to redevelop former military sites handed over eight years ago.

The report says Malone Road barracks was sold for 1 million pounds under its estimated value.

It also says the price of decontaminating the Maze Prison in County Down has soared to over £8m, and adds there is still much to be done despite £20m being spent so far.
