The Irish Guards have paraded through the County Down town of Newtonwards the day after Friday's Military Review in Belfast.

Affectionatly known by the town as the “Ards Guards” they also visited the Somme Nursing Home where the Drums and Pipes were played.

Their final call was the Belfast Borough of Castlereagh where each soldier was presented with a specially minted medallion to mark the occasion.
