Verdicts on two men accused of murdering two British soldiers in March 2009 will be given in the New Year.

Colin Duffy and Brian Shivers deny the murders of Sappers Mark Quinsey and Patrick Azimkar at Massereene barracks.

The two soldiers were shot dead while they collected pizzas outside the base. A number of other people were injured.

Mr Duffy, 44, from Lurgan and Mr Shivers, 46, from Magherafelt both also deny six charges of attempted murder and one of possession of guns and explosives.
