Navy Officer dies in racing crash

Tributes have been paid to a Royal Navy officer killed in a crash during the Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man.

James Adam who was 28 died at the scene of the accident, involving two bikes. He was from Preswick. 39 year old Chris Bradshaw from Tamworth died later in hospital.

Both men crashed on the second lap of a race in the Manx Grand Prix at about 11am on Wednesday.

In a statement the Manx Motorcyle Club expressed their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of both men.
