A team of injured British servicemen have spent the past week in Gibraltar preparing for an attempt at swimming round the island of Jersey in July.

The Battle Back challenge has seen some fierce competition for places on the team. The challenge – to swim 41 miles round the island – is physically and mentally challenging but this taking part also relish the chance to work as a unit.

The Battle Back team will race against a team from the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club and a team from the Army Swimming Club.
