The Defence Police Force in Gibraltar has marked the sacrifice of some of its officers who lost their lives in the Second World War.

A memorial plaque has been unveiled on the Rock, dedicated to four police constables who were killed in Tangier in 1942.

Modern-day officers were also honoured for their long service to the force.
