Gibraltar’s Band of Brothers

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment was set up in 1958, to protect the rock of Gibraltar. In recent years however, the regiment have taken on a more operational role, with many soldiers serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

With such a small population living in Gibraltar, it is common for family members to serve in the force. The Canepa brothers are one such example.
