Pipe band signs agreement with RBL

In Germany, the President of the Crossed Swords pipe band, Major General Nick Caplin has signed a friendship agreement with the local branch of the Royal British Legion.
The Crossed Swords include non-military players from across Europe and appeared at this year’s Edinburgh Tattoo.
Between them, the Band and British Legion branch have more than four hundred members, and will stay in the area after the Rheindahlen Military Complex closes in 2014.
