In Germany, as Christmas approaches it can be a difficult time for the families of soldiers from 20 Brigade deployed on operations in Afghanistan.

But help is at hand round the clock from the The Army's Chaplaincy service. Forces News has been speaking to Paderborn Garrison's Senior chaplain on the night of the Anglo-German Carol Service in Paderborn.

The Band and Bugles of the Rifles led the music for the service and also spoke to Forces News about the role of music in supporting and entertaining families.
