Heavy weapons training for 2RRF

Soldiers from 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers have been on the Sennelager ranges for heavy weapons training this week.

2RRF are refreshing their Annual Combat Marksmanship Training before they shortly start their Mission Specific Training.

The Battalion will begin its turn as the Theatre Reserve Battalion in July, and are re-familiarising themselves with the Heavy Machine Gun and the Grenade Machine Gun ahead of deployment.

They last deployed to Afghanistan in 2009.
