Professional and amateur chefs from across Bergen-Hohne Garrison have had their best efforts judged at the annual Christmas cake competition.
Fullers restaurant in Fallingbostel hosted the event where they also launched the ‘Rat’s Desserts’ recipe book. It's full of favourite puddings all sourced from the residents of the garrison.
The 25 entrants were judged on technical skill, Christmas theme, originality and 'wow' factor.
The overall winner was Celle’s NAAFI accountant, Heide Saunders with her stack of Christmas parcels.
