Collection of photographs taken by Antony Loveless and Corporal Ashley Keates of the RAF during their recent visit to Kandahar and Helmand Province in July 2010.
Photo journalist and author Antony Loveless was in Afghanistan to undertake research for forthcoming books on the work of the Chinook Crews and of the RAF Regiment.
The pictures were taken on an embed with 2 Squadron RAF Regiment, during a three-day patrol which covered the villages of Molla Abdollah Kariz and Mandizar, and on various sorties with Chinook and Merlin Crews.
