David Cameron has reiterated his view that as long as the Falkland Islands want to be sovereign British territory, they should remain so.

The PM took the opportunity during Prime Minister's Questions to mark the anniversary yesterday of the liberation of the Falkland Islands in 1982.

He said it was a time to remember the "superb bravery, skill and courage" of the soldiers who liberated the islands and also those that fell during the conflict.
