The last Army Air Corps Mark Nine Lynx helicopter has been given an upgrade so it can cope with the extreme conditions in Afghanistan.

The work has taken around 2 and a half years and cost £132 million pounds.

Now called the Mark Nine Alpha, the helicopters are already making an impact in Helmand.
