Forces rower Peter Reed has been training hard, with just two years left until the London Olympics.
Next month the Royal Navy Officer travels to Lake Karapiro in New Zealand to compete in the rowing world championships.
Jon Knighton went to the British rowing headquarters in Caversham to meet him.
