The Cyprus scrubland around Akrotiri and Episkopi have been transformed into a mock Afghanistan.

The setting enables troops from A Company, 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment to train for deployment.

All three companies of the battalion have completed their training five months into their time as the Theatre Reserve.
