Soldiers from 101 Full Support Battalion REME have been put through their paces in Germany in a mass riot exercise.

Exercise Blue Bull Warrior provides troops with public order training ahead of their deployment on Op Tosca in Cyprus late next year.

More than 200 soldiers are involved in this exercise, including a team from 50 OPR Company and 4 SCOTS in Fallingbostel who are playing the civlian population.

On the day British Forces News filmed, the exercise involved a scenario where two opposing groups are fighting over food and water. It would be the role of the UN peacekeeping force to maintain the green line and keep control of security.
